Intrinsically safe, battery-powered instrument for accurately measure leak rates at various natural gas components, designed to determine the volumetric flow rate of gas leaks or fugitive emissions around various above grade natural gas infrastructure such as pipe fittings, valve packings, and compressor seals.
The Hetek Flow Sampler operates at a high flow rate to capture the entire gas plume emitted from a leaking component. By measuring both the sampling flow rate and the natural gas concentration within the sampling stream, the system accurately calculates the leak rate in CFM or LPM.
